You have several options available when paying for Mecklenburg County Council events on the MyCampDirector.com system. Having a PayPal account is not required. PayPal is the payment processor chosen by the council to safely and securly handle online payments for events.
PayPal provides several options for you. If you have a PayPal account you can use your account to pay for the events. If you would like to create* a new PayPal account you can certianly do that. Easy to follow instructions are available on their site www.paypal.com.
If you do not have or do not want to create a PayPal account then you can use a debit or credit card. PayPal will process your payment without you having to create an account with them.
It is recommended that you read the on screen text provided when you are sent to PayPal from this website.
*Note - if you do create a new PayPal account and want to use your debit card there will be some delays in your payment processing due to PayPal's policy on verifying the bank account on the card.
